Most of the applications installed but I got a number of errors. Doing so requires me to install all my old applications. I was having Windows 10 OS issues that were too difficult to analyze and was instructed to do a 'Reset This PC' to do a nearly clean install of Windows 10. The CS5 suite has worked great under all operating systems (including Windows 10). I also updated to Windows 10 as soon as it became widely available. I eventually updated to Windows 8 and 8.1. I have a desktop computer initially with Windows 7 and I was able to successfully install CS5 Production Premium.
